OPGW50 is a high-voltage overhead optical ground wire featuring a central stainless steel tube with optical fibers, surrounded by aluminum-clad steel and aluminum alloy layers for mechanical strength and conductivity.Construction and MaterialsOPGW50 cables typically consist of a central stainless steel tube housing the optical fibers, which are protected by loose tubes filled with moisture-proof gel. Surrounding this core are aluminum-clad steel (ACS) wires and aluminum alloy (AA) wires, providing mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity for grounding purposes .
